Keep the phone and microphone setup. Place the LED panel on its own included mini tripod, slightly to one side of the camera. Keep it off the phone clamp and adjust it while watching a test clip. Use the same positions each time for a quicker setup.

Know before you commit: Measure the phone with its case. The 7P’s tiny built-in tripod needs a level stable surface. For a Lightning phone, the module requires DJI’s dedicated USB-C-to-Lightning recording cable; the Mic Mini receiver’s Lightning adapter is a different accessory. Use the supplied 15 cm phone audio cable for the module; the 50 cm power cable is not an audio substitute.
